My Story

While assisting my own parents in their old age and watching them go from the comfort of home to an assisted living arrangement, I gained insight into the needs and desires of seniors. I visited them daily, and while aiding my parents, I found joy in helping not only them but other's in the facility. I decided that this was my calling and trained to be a full-time health care attendant. Besides the technical aspects of the job, my greatest enjoyment comes from making people laugh and reminding them of the fun side of life. I have been a care aid since 2009, and it is the in-home care that I enjoy the most and that I feel provides the most value to those I serve.
